this is what david and i heard on tv this past wednesday night that our local news aired several times before the actual news came on at 11:00 pm:

"this will be the coldest night of the season, and it's only going to get colder."
??? blink. blink. ??? i looked at david and said, "did i hear that right?" everytime we heard it, we'd look at each other and die laughing.
