missy higgins

i have recently discovered missy higgins and really dig her. she was on one of our recent paste sample cd's a month or two ago. i commented in the car one day that i liked her voice and lyrics, and david surprised me the other day with her album, the sound of white. i am diggin' her chili in a major way! download a song or two and check her out. she's worth it. for those of you that were at our wedding in 2002, she sounds a lot like my cousin courtney who sang. it's eerie how much they sound alike. speaking of courtney (who, by the way, is way too cool for me) ... she recently left gibson guitar and joined category 5 records, an award-winning independent music and video distribution company in nashville, as their southwest region promotion manager. get it on, girl. you know that i am your biggest fan.
