live music
david and i are headed to a concert next month in lexington and got in a discussion one night recently about all the concerts we've ever been to. i thought that this would be a fun post and want to encourage others to post the same if they want to. after thinking about all the concerts i have ever been to, i realized that i have dropped a butt load of money on concerts. but oh so worth it. i also have gone to the most random concerts that would probably make you laugh. i got to thinking about my other friends that blog and wondered what concerts they've been to (jo, you've gotta list yours!). so if you want, blog and list all the concerts you've ever been to. i am going to list my first concert, then the rest in random order, and then the last concert i attended. the starred ones are artists that i've seen more than once (unfortunately one artist...five times...obession?...nah). this is not a blog that is saying look at me, look at me...if anything it's for you to laugh at me. :o) and for you to hopefully share who you've seen. concert attendance says a lot about a person i think.

This Jo's comment (she was having trouble posting it):
Concerts have always been lacking in my life... I've never lived in a town that was a big concert draw, nor have I had lots of extra cash to spend on concert tickets. I usually talk myself out of spending the money. So, here's my short list (not counting Riverbend).
Rod Stewart
R.E.M.
Tim McGraw/Faith Hill
Keith Urban
Black Crowes
Alison Kraus and the Union Station
Sting (Ah!!! Mission Accomplished!)
And on Feb. 10th, Hubby and I are going to see the Goo Goo Dolls!!!!!! I am so excited about that!
