oh to blog
to think that i would blog once a week much less daily is quite funny to me...matter of fact...hilarious. i always wondered with new moms, "what could they possibly be doing all day? surely they could spend an hour emailing or blogging after just having a newborn." [long awkward pause] man, was i ever wrong like a thong. good night nurse in the freakin' morning! for every mother out there, you know what i am talking about. the first few weeks of this journey any "free" second of the day was devoted to one of the following: eating, peeing, nursing my second degree battle wounds, soaking in epsom salt as the doctor ordered, trying to have a "pleasant" bowel movement, or SLEEPING....oh sweet precious sleep. all the other minutes in the day were/are devoted to providing sweet, lucious milk to my son. there is so much that i want to say and share, but i just haven't had the energy or time. i am still trying to figure out how to manage my time with a newborn. but good news is...asa is working out a routine now, so we've been doing pretty good the past week, so i am able to plan a little better, and my day is a little more predictable. many friends have told me to keep bloggin', so don't give up on me! more later! :o)

You have summed it up so very well! The good news is, it's not always like this... it will get better and more predictable in the future. For now, you are doing an excellent job doing the only things you HAVE to do right now... taking care of yourself and your precious child.
this certainly made me smile. oh motherhood...you certainly can't sum it up in one sentence. and the newborn stage is absolutely exhausting!!! it does keep getting easier though, now that he is on a schedule...that helps a lot!
Thankfully, it does get much more predictable and routine after a while , but at first you've just gotta survive! You're almost through the hardest part!
